The William Gibbs Educational Trust

​Helen was delighted to be selected as a choral scholar at St John's Hyde Park in 2018, and was very grateful for the generous support of the William Gibbs Educational Trust.

Following annual auditions, St John's appoint eight choral scholars per year - two sopranos, two mezzos, two tenors and two bass/baritones - to support the worship of the church and educational links within the parish. These singers are selected from a strong field of applicants from London conservatoires. 

Helen held a position as choral scholar at St John's from 2018-2020, and regularly returns there - by invitation - to dep. in services and to sing recitals. She also sings on an occasional basis at St. Margaret's Church in Putney.
